Rideout’s Lodge
Located only 2 hours northeast of Bangor, Maine, Rideouts is right on the shores of East Grand Lake.
Rideouts offers 14 waterfront rental cabins, ranging from studio to a 7 bedroom, 2 bath Cabin; and other sizes are also available. Their main lodge has a restaurant for their guests to dine and is also open to the public. Meals are served lakeside, with breakfast being cooked-to-order. Lunch and dinner is served family style. Fresh bread is baked daily, and made right there using a circa 1940 hand-written recipe; served with locally-made fresh butter and jams. They have a retail & tackle shop, rec room, WIFI, and satellite TV on the premises.
Aluminum boats with 4-stroke Honda 10/15 horsepower motors, most with electric start; rentals are available, as well as kayaks, canoes and a paddle boat. There is a sandy beach for relaxing, soaking in the sun, or for access to their swim platform.
A 215’ dock where all of their boats are docked and private boats are welcome, that can also be docked there.
